By downloading, installing, or using RepKey (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the App.
2. Description of Service
RepKey is a fitness-motivation app that restricts access to selected apps on your device until you complete a daily workout. The App uses your device's camera and on-device pose detection to count exercise repetitions in real time.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
4. User Responsibilities
When using the App, you agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or servers
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with the normal operation of the App
- Use the App in any manner that could harm yourself or others during exercise
5. Health and Safety Disclaimer
- The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice
- Consult a healthcare professional before starting any exercise program
- You are solely responsible for exercising safely and within your physical capabilities
- The developer is not liable for any injuries sustained while using the App
6. Screen Time and App Blocking
- The App uses Apple's Screen Time API to restrict access to apps you select
- You may revoke Screen Time permissions at any time through your device's Settings
- The developer is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by app restrictions
7. Subscriptions
- The App offers premium plans (monthly and annual subscriptions)
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings app
- Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App, including its design, logo, code, and content, belong to the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
- The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
- The accuracy of exercise detection and rep counting depends on device capabilities, lighting conditions, and camera positioning, and is not guaranteed
- The developer is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the App
10. Changes to the Service
The developer reserves the right to modify, add, remove features, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice. In the event of service termination, reasonable advance notice will be provided.
11. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. If significant changes are made, you will be notified through the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
